I attended a meeting with the Environment Agency, South Gloucestershire Council and Bristol Avon Rivers Trust on Friday about silt in the Hazel Brook. The Environment Agency continues to investigate, including regarding the building sites near the A4018.
The Environment Agency thanked us for our reporting and photos which they said has been very useful.
I made it clear just how much we all care about our river. I will update again when the Environment Agency has completed its work and decided what to do, if anything.
