The Riverfly monitoring done by Clarie, Lydia, Tim and others makes the health of our streams clear. Overall, the trends seem positive, as shown in the diagram below. Less rubbish in the river can only help.
Improvements to the sewers in our area in the next five to seven years by Wessex Water should lead to more diversity and abundance.
