Bristol City Council debated a motion at their Full Council meeting “Save our rivers, stopping the sewage scandal”. The motion passed with support from Lib Dems, Greens and Labour.

Wessex Water have confirmed they completed the North Bristol Relief Sewer in 2023, providing over 30,000m3 of underground storage.
